I just received The Reaper today, a few days after my birthday. By far this has to be the best birthday gift that I can recall to date. I have yet to even crack this whip, and part of me never want\'s to in fear of disturbing such a marvelous work of art.
I have read the countless reviews submitted by Victor\'s more than satisfied customers, and that didn\'t even begin to prepare me for the finely crafted masterpiece I now hold in my hands. Honestly and truthfully, words do his whips no justice. Whether you are an avid whip conesuer or on a journey to buy your very first whip, you need to by a Victor Tella Quality, (and I can\'t stress that word enough) Whip to truly grasp the beauty and awe inspiring \"quality\" of his whips.
This particular custom design is the end product of my personal request for a whip that has unparalleled rugged durability paired with an intimidating custom Victor Tella design that I can take with me on my next tour to Afghanistan. I wanted a whip that will deter an opponent not just physically, but also visually. What Victor created for me far superseded my expectations. He took my request for visual intimidation to the next level with the universal language of the infamous skull and cross swords including the rest of the stunningly gorgeous 24 plait handle design. Not to mention the seemlessy 12 plaited thong. It is so well made that it seems as if the thong is constructed from a solid, single piece of tubular hide with plaited etching when you run you hand down it\'s length. To sum it all up, it is simply a phenomenal whip, and first of many more whips to come.
